Evening all....mixed bag today.
On the plus side, Daff's bloods are recovering and the infection is receding...from wherever it's been hiding!
She is still having difficulty breathing though, and this is causing her distress and that has knock on effect on the heart and BP. Can't do a trachy at present because the vochal chords are still swollen. So still on low dose sedation, anti-b's and drip feed.
In and out of conciousness today, but (bar once) don't know if she knew this herself. At least another 24hrs before they assess if trachy going to be done, or if they have to wait longer - all a bit of a waiting game and balancing job at the mo, I'm afraid.

sorry to hear about the set back but better to take slowly. Cant believe they still havent found the infection let the people here loose on it there bound to find it and destroy.

ps....the orange jumpers Julia knitted were a great success, but she ran out of wool and had to put fluorescent green stripes...well....anyway lots of glitter on the beanies...we still go marching on:-))
