Thank you Mr R Daff for the update. A mask over the trachy tube instead of over the face sounds pretty good to me.

As the others have said, please take care of yourself too.

Get all the rest you can and try not to worry too much.

Although we all look forward to reading your updates, we would all understand if you would prefer to "Chillax" instead.
You really need to book yourself some Mr. r. time. Give yourself a little treat, for allo the hard work that you have put in.

Thanks so much for the update which will cheer us all. That sounds an enormous step forward, especially with the breathing rate and BP being good.

As you say, onward and upward. (Remember to look after yourself too - we need you fighting fit!)

Another small step - breathing without support since late last night, so now off the ventilator - just the trachy plus a mask over that providing oxygen at a low, but supportive rate. Next step will be to remove the mask (it's over the tube, not the face).
Had some tramadol for back pain as I got there today, so mostly 'out of it', and only limited reaction when her sister's visited as well.
Med's think she is tired from the efforts of breathing herself, plus the t'dol, so tomorrow may see a more responsive day.
Breathing rate and BP are very good as well...

Onward and upward...

Morning Daffers and Mr Daff:o)

Drizzly here, not nice and no gardening:o))) he he
Saw Julian Clary last night...oh my god even the walls changed colour from pale pink to deep red...lol
When we got there we found our seats were double booked, but we got other seats (upstairs grr) and our money back. Brilliant show..Daffers you would have loved ito)
