great news. She is bound to be confused, look at the days she has missed, as well as all the drugs she has been on. Eating will have to be taken slowly, little and often is best, not so hard on an unused tummy!

Great news! Hope that Daff will keep moving in the right direction, as I'm sure she will. Sound's like a good idea off Tess, I think that Daff will love to hear them, if it's possible for you to record them purring.

Good news! I am sure that once Daff gets settled in her new ward and comes out of sedation fully,she will be less confused.

Are you able to tape the sound of your cats while they are purring? A comforting familiar sound may help to cheer Daff up.

Meanwhile I am (trying to ) pogo in delight because of the excellent progress made so far.

I'm so pleased to read that Daff is still taking small steps in the right direction . Mr . Daff , it must have been wonderful for you to hear your lady speaking again , even if she is a bit confussed .

Thank you R, I am sure anyone would be confused having been sedated for a length of time and on a cocktail of drugs. But moving wards is good and shows progress. Well done Daff. Hopefully as the drugs come out of her system and with a bit of prompting the memory will come back and confusion lessen
