I guess that Daffs progress is bound to be slow , she has been wandering in the shadows for an age ( medications etc send a person into the place where time and reality stand still ) .

I'm pleased to hear that she is continuing to eat a little and that she is recognising family .

My positive thoughts are still heading firmly in her direction every day .

Thank you Mr Daff for the update and try and get some rest yourself . x

Evening Mr Daff,

Thanks for the update. The reading and recognition of a name is good and also eating a little and drinking.

Try to get some rest yourself.

Thinking of you all.
Love
Elisabeth xx

Hello all,
Not much change overall, though some of the the events/actions Daff speaks about seems more 'directed', and less random than yesterday & day before. She did read some (maybe all, I don't know) of a letter she received, and I could confirm one sentence in particular. Better still is that she recognised the name given in that sentence, and that name is what I would describe as an 'up to date' name, as opposed to what appears to be a number of historic or random names (family tree research, perhaps?).
Daff does generally recognise current family members, but the overall confusion and associated frustration still there. It's going to be slow progress.
Still eating small amounts, and drinking water okay - not fussed about anything else yet.
Need to get a run-down from the consultants on Monday re future....

Cheers,
R.

Strangely Daff doesn't normally like sweet things like chocolate, preferring savoury, except after the first lot of chemo she enjoyed chocolate so let's hope it is the same now as there is goodness in good chocolate.

Chocolate will encourage most people to eat, it would work with me, hope it works with Daff.

She's getting there, slowly but surely.

Just a brief note this evening - no real change from yesterday, but that's not unexpected! Some cereal and soup consumed, which is a start, and I'll take some chocolate in tomorrow to see if that is okay!

Night all !!
