Phew, what a relief to switch on and see that you are back. Sometimes admin here leave a lot to be desired. Anyway, welcome back.

I am sure that you had anticipated the results of the scan and I am sorry that there is some damage. However, the 'team' seem to be thinking positively and the neurological unit will be a good place to further improvement. We are still behind Daff 100% and only slightly sloppy (was it BC who said that? Tsk!!) It is a slow job but Daff will get there I am sure.

Morning Daff and Mr Daff,

Wonderful to see you back on parade, we do need you here to keep the troops in order. Some seem to have forgotten to keep their uniforms in pristine condition. Maybe they have been out snowballing.

I hope the physios can get Daff moving around more and that the possible transfer to a different hospital goes well.

Okay......CT scan has shown some 'damage' and neurologists called in to assess. I was there today when the initial (10 min) interview was conducted, and the consultant is going to put Daff onto specific vitamin supps, carry out some further more specific tests (not sepcified, before anyone asks) and then assess requirements. But it may well be that she is transferred to a neurological rehab unit in Rookwood hospital (local). That is actually good news because it indicates that any 'damage' that has happened can be positively addressed.
Slow impovement in leg/arm strength and physio's intend to get her walking about from tomorrow....needs footware (H&S) which i took in today. Generally in good spirits, but otherwise no change.
