Mrs G I only ever used a microwave once in my entire life I attempted to poach n egg it blew up!

Buy an old fashioned string dolly mop and mop bucket. They do pretty ones in pink now,yes thats how sad I am.

While we're on the subject of culinary disasters I have to admit to once burning boiled eggs. Ooh they did stink the place out! This was many years ago mind - and nowadays I try not to cook at all if I can help it ...

Kitty ,I cooked pheasant last night for OH,have to say thankfully without the help of the mop.Never cooked it before.

Well...............you see I was concentrating so hard on getting the pudding right I forgot all about the sauce simmering, so the sauce bubbled and the spoon fell out, then I left the pudding to rescue the spoon and the sauce so the pudding got ignored and was a bit of a disaster:( *sighs heavily*

I am the only woman I know who can't multitask!!

Gawd Kitty how long was the spoon cooking before it caught fire ???

New name for Kitty,-------------------------- Kitty the rubbish cook and destroyer of kitchen utensils.

I set fire to a wooden spoon once................took it out of the pan and blew the flames out, left it a while then binned it.

5 minutes later the smoke alarm went off..........exit one bin ever so slightly melted:) lol
