My daughters an I were in a Sussex newspaper - absolutely sodden, dressed in tudor clothes!
It was a 're-enaction' of queen Elizabeth 1st's visit to Midhurst.
Have to admit my specs sort of ruined it, but I needed to see where I was going! We were all dressed in green velvet - those curtains certainly had a life!! LOL
Most embarrasing bit was when we got into a taxi afterwards.
My enormous bustle had collected water on the journey - I sat in the taxi and oozed water.

I have also been in a local paper that was doing a 'thing' on genealogy - my g x 6 grandfather's funeral was in the paper.

Younger daughter has been in a photographic magazine - a photo entered into a competition by her stepmother.
She was also in our local paper encouraging good teeth hygiene.
(She's now 26, her sister is 29 and neither have a filling!!)

:) still smiling :)

I have been in the paper three times. the first was when i was four, i won a fancy dress competition at my big brothers school. i went with our naighbour and we were 'lady and the tramp'- she got to the lady and i was the tramp. i had an empty beer can, my grandads old waistcoat and a drawn on beard! really attractive look!

the second time i was in our local paper as my friend and i were interviewed because kate moss had just been seen taking a bunch of drugs and they wanted to get our views on it as she used to go to my high school. they accosted us at the bus stop and twisted our words- damn the press! lol

third time was last year at the pink aerobics in regents park. :)

Yes when I was seven and walking with the May Queen in our local Club Day Procession, in the afternoon there was always a field day thingy and that year Emile Ford (remember him and your old) opened it, (he was at the time going our with a local girl who he later married, she is an actress but I cannot think of her name at the moment)
He kissed all us girls and being seven we where mortified,

Steve has come good - her name is Cherith Mellor, still acting today
