Yes, I was photo'd with my eldest daughter, talking about family history. They also printed some photos of my ancestors. Then a year later I was in an article about molar pregnancy, which affected me in 2002. My kids have been in quite a lot, various things like playing in the snow when the paper asks for snow pictures in the winter etc, plus our wedding and the childrens baptisms. I suppose the only downside, is everybody knows your business!

Nope- but been on TV - twice and radio once!

Once in the 80s when working at RAF Henlow civilian personnel we were very much involved with YTS (anyone remember that?) we had a lot of youngsters on the scheme and also work experience and I was in charge of it.
Once here in Glos when I wrote to the local paper when our cat was hit by an air gun pellet
Once, also in glos when I was looking at photos in an exhibition and the photographer wanted to take a photo of somebody looking interested for the local paper.

these were all in local papers, not made the nationals.

My hubby once having scored a hat-trick in a final agenst a Belgium side {bk page}

N me twice ~ both front page news 1st was 1985 {got on tv too!} when I erm lead a rebellion for CSE pupils who were sufferin from NUT strikes I got all the pupil bar 2 out on strike ~ the outcome they closed the school!

2nd was 3 years ago when I erm lead local primary school to keep it open ~ the outcome the closed the school!

Couple of times when we were promoting my Amature Theatre group as I was President at the time.

Dressed as a Clown on stage doing a Charity show for Spastic Welfare Singing Old Tme Rock and Roll with my niece ( I have never lived that down believe me). My name was put in the Paper as "Jacko the Clown"

Been on TV a couple of times too.
Once doing a song with a group
Then a Tonight Show many years ago where they asked if anyone in the Audience knew the song Ilkley Moor Bah Tat. Of course being a Yorkshire girl I knew it and had to sing it on TV

I was in a group photo of a coffee morning a couple of years ago, taken at one of the fund-raising MacMillan Biggest ever coffee mornings.

Grandson seems to be in the paper at least about 4 times a year, either school or community events.

but my car was in all the national papers in 1984 when it got written off by a De Havilland Buffalo crashing at Farnborough Air Show!

I had gone to Liverpool for the day shopping and this bloke approached me asking if I knew how to get to the Liverpool Docks, when I pulled out my blackberry phone to look up the directions some youths ran from a doorway and snatched it out of my hand, so I was on Crimewatch as a victim nah nah lol
