LadyBarbara Report 3 Mar 2009 12:07

The reason I am asking is that hubby and I fancy going on one, we have got £11.50 saved, does anyone know how much they cost?

LadyBarbara

LadyBarbara Report 3 Mar 2009 12:39

So you don't think we've got enough with £11. 50 Daphne...lol

The one we were looking at is 111 days, we're only thinking about it for when we retire, and that won't be for ages yet...

Hi Hazel, was it a world cruise they went on

We've never been on a cruise but may try a small one this year and we have been looking at some for when we retire, but don't know if we could cope with one for that long. By the time we retire, we may have a bit more saved lol..

I think it was the Queen Mary we were looking at and they seemed to stop in port for a day or two days but we only skimmed through Daphne, I just thought it would be a good idea to ask on here because it's a long time to be away.

Hazel

My next door neighbours went twice last year and love it so thought we might give it a go. A month might be nice long enough to give it a try but it's very expensive I think..might have to pass the hat round lol

I would like to go somewhere first and then join the ship, Daphne best of both worlds.

But I've told other half we have to have a cabin with a balcony, he'd have us in the crews quarters if he could save a few quid....lol
