My youngest has the same problem with her name........she has one other in her year at primary school and probably about 10 in the whole school sharing her name.

My fault really.........I knew it was quite a popular name but it was the only one we could both settle on ..........I'm pretty sure she'll curse me for it in the fullness of time xx

ChAoTicintheNewYear Report 19 Feb 2009 18:33

Muffy everyone is quite a bit younger than Hayley ;-)

I don't dislike my name but I'd have preferred to be called something different. There were 4 of us with my name in my class alone and several more in the same year and other years too.

Silly Sausage Report 19 Feb 2009 18:26

No I hate mine, Hayley was a very unsual name in the 70's . My sisters have fairly common names and when we were on a day trips and would get brought pens or keyrings you could never get anything with my name on...the first time I saw a keyring that said Hayley I brought it......I was in my 20's...then were was the spellings and I would get called Hazel Heidi Hillary Helen anything but Hayley......or I was called Ayelee...without the H....
