Hi Shimms, I got your PM hun.

I think to open a new account ( I could be wrong about this) Joan would need to re registar as a new member & pay a new subscriptions fee. Also as a new member she'd have to transfer her tree over, start a fresh with contact, won't be able to use jgee as community name as this is owned by her other memberships.
Ultimately this may not even even cure the problem.

When you open a thread, the last part to dowm load & become live for use is the Reply button. This is the same when you're able to reply, the Submit, Bookmark & Rely buttons are the last to up load & become live for use.
It seems that when Joan opens a thread, the final uploading of this hasn't happened. As this has happened to quite a few people this week, my suspicion points to GR & not her computer.

Has Joan tried signing out & back in Shimms? This may correct the problem.

Can't help Joan as I'm not using mac ..... have you tried using the new zealand or australian GR sites ? see if this corrects the prob .... good luck :)

Joanie has tried contacting GR for a week, all she has received are 4 automated replies.

Do you know how she could open another account please?

Hi Joan, I think this is a GR glitch & not your computer. Other people have also have had a similar problem with the Reply & Submit buttons.

Have you tried signing out & back in? This may resolve the glitch.

If this doesn't correct the problem. Then contact GR & hopefully they'll resolve it from their end.
