I've just realized ... sometimes I have to click twice, maybe three times on reply to get it to 'drop'.

Another thing I do on this new reply box is forget to click submit, click reply instead.

She tried signing out then ... wait for this,

GR did not recognise her email address nor password.

Joanie, hope you can read this, will be able to at least speak using Edit.

Yes, Jackie and Daphne are from Oz too, have been talking about the terrible heat and more. Do you know them, they are soo nice, are on the number thread.

I like your names Shimms, it cools me down when I read them and think of the snow some of you are having. We have had 4 days of high 30 degrees and are in for 2-3 of mid to high 40's.

The same thing has happened to me only when I use my lappy,could not use the submit button but now it seems to be okay, had to put my password in again, and it's been alright since.

Oh dear Shimms, still struggling with your name hun?

I tried changing mine yesterday, but couldn't. After sometime I found that the GR wont accept the letter characters that I can access on my comp. But wil accept those I found on internet !?.

I'll try & change it again later to day. As snow nearly gone now, so name no longer appropiate.

Hi Shimms, another thought;

I assume Joans' Mac is a lappy. Her battery power settings can affect computer performance.

High performance......battery life is reduce but higher oparational speed

Power saver..........increases battery life but may reduce system performance.

This is a bit of a long shot though,.

I know Alko, look at me ... even when I put my own name in my own name box and nothing in my Community name, GR still seems to think I was born Shimms has just a likkle bit of Mistletoe.

Problems is shimms, cant even ring them, its always by email, i was lucky i suppose,

The problem is, they are not replying in person, just silly automated responses. How can anything be sorted, tis rude too ... tis now a week and no-one has had the manners or courtesy to contact her.

Hi Joan, i had terrible problems the other day signing into GR, said my email address wasnt recognised, then my password, then it said register now, i had to C&P the receipt they sent me saying i had paid, it was a nightmare. In the end i had to change my password, it took about an hour in total, I had no submit button, it kept saying i was a free member.

Keep trying, GR need to sort it xxx
