For Me it would be "King Prawns" with Hot Plum Sauce as a Starter, Next would be Fillet Steak garnished with Bernaise Sauce plus Saute Potatoes( Mixed with fried onions) plus a medley of veg. Then to follow Profiterols with a hot chocolate Sauce laced with Gran Marnier. With the obvious lashings of Vino and the cheese Board then Prince Charles Coffee to finish, ( The lashings of Vino because like some one else on here I am a bit of an artist ( P) **M**..

Stray I watched last weeks show on catch up over the w/end. Bernard, GOD what an attention seeker, BIG TIME or what!!

I loved Nigel who won it, Dawn scored 9 a record low for the show cos she kept falling asleep and Nigel ended up cooking her food lol

Oh and Val was soooo funny, quite posh and loved the way she looked over the top of her goggles all the time....

I'd love to go on that show, I might apply....

Hey don't knock it until you try it. lol

I thought the same thing about the Black Peppers with Strawberries
But the flavour is just delicious and I always put the in now. Give it a try sometime and let me know what you think. Of course you have to like Peppers in the first place to try it and appreciate it

Take Care
Regards
Jackie

When you have watched the programme, and seen something you fancy, go onto the "channel4/food "site and click onto "come dine with me", and you can print off the recipes. Tried this many times.

AnninGlos Report 26 Jan 2009 11:51

Whirley that sounds delicious.

Stray: Calamare is squid rings, I like them fried in batter, they are nice if cooked properly and not tough. Octopus too is nice although I have only had a taste of grandson's when he was with us in Lanzarote. why do you think you couldn't eat it? Perception?

or
Paella
