Marilyn judging by the state they leave the house in, there are bound to be mice.
I am pleased that that annoying Tashie went. I shall have to go to bed in a minute, to see her getting chucked out of the house.

Well done Cath, it's just as easy to put it onto Ancestry, in 'Family Tree' you click onto 'Upload a GEDCOM'............ but remember it replaces the tree you already have on there.
Shelly, I've just had a go at downloading a GEDCOM from Ancestry and it worked OK. What part isn't working on yours?
Rita, I've just had a look at mine and it's due on 5th November.
Edit: Mo, add 'looking for trouble' to 'pushing his luck', in fact........... every annoying thing you can think of - it all adds up to 'working his ticket' (workie ticket for short).

cath its not that hard to do so you should be ok
mo see you should leard to read every think properly lol
although pauline iv been trying to up date my gr tree and gedcom dont want to lowed from ancestery tree

Cath, sorry, I've just seen your post.
If you hover your mouse over where it says 'Family Tree' (top of the page next to 'Home') you'll see 'Import GEDCOM', click on that. On the page it takes you to - click on 'Export GEDCOM' (left hand side, just above delete tree). GR will send it to you in an email and you'll be able to upload it to your tree on Ancestry.

Now Marilyn, I know you have been out of the country, and yes Paddy did win celebrity big brother, but the one thats on at nine tonight is ordinary Joe Public, Miss and Mr nobodies, who want to get on the t.v to show their bits and bobs. The other night the men were running round in the nuddy, with their meat and two veg showing.
This series started last Friday,the night after Celebrity B.B finished.
Sorry Cath I'm no use to you with your question.

I'm a dunce at Computers as well, but I do know that GEDCOM is a way of transferring your tree to Ancestry ....maybe Pauline or Shelly will be able to help as my son did mine for me .
if you cant do it put it on thread , someone will know how to do it.

Hello Friendlies,
thanks for your get well wishes. :-D I'm feeling lots better, tablets must be working, swelling almost completely down and leg just pink not red and angry looking. I'm glad as I didn't fancy going on hols like that :-(
Marilyn great to have you back, hope you had a lovely time.
I want to send my GR tree to Ancestry as I have more on my GR one and haven't updated my Ancestry one for about a year. Is there a quick and easy way to do this or must I move 1000 people one at a time :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S
I am a computer dunce so it would have to be VERY simple in order for me to grasp it, lol.
Shelly, don't forget you're not here sunday and monday. :-D

Shelly, why wont you be here Sunday or Monday, I know I'm a nosey begger, but surprised that no one has asked you yet.
Oooops just spotted that you are going to Alton Towers, silly ol me. You are never going to go on all those rides. You wouldn't catch me anywhere near them, but I love to watch peoples faces when they are on a ride, especially if it's a really scary one.
Where has Maddie got to, haven't seen her posting on here for a while.

Shelly's such a wasteful person....fancy using up all that paper all she had to do was tell us she wont be here on Sunday or Monday ! LOL
I'm doing great in the washing area.....3rd lot gone in the machine and its blowing away nicely,and the sun is still shinning !!
Where is Linda ? dont seem to have seen her on thread ...
Better get back to my ironing ,dont you just hate it when its looking at you and saying IRON ME before its gets any bigger ..LOL
