Good afternoon one and all.
Pauline, no paint on my broomstick, only the best varnish to keep it well weathered.
Anything like the last time we went gallavanting with Stephen, he kept throwing those smellie haggis overboard, and just missing us, I dont want to take any chances of getting my broomstick ruined. lol

Thanks Foggy on George's update, I'm sure he's only doing it to make us jealous, after the rotten weather we have had to put up whilst he has been away.
When is he due back ?.

Stephen, hope your eye's feeling better today. I hope Mrs Stephen is taking good care of you.

Marilyn, stop telling pork pies,39 years young indeed. You are getting as bad as Pinnoccio, I can almost touch your nose from here. lol
Seriously though love, have a great time between you and your older sister.
What is the time difference between you both.?

Rita, a chain of love for you for tomorrow, for your results.
00000000000000000000000 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 00000000000000000000000
I will have everything crossed for you.

Huia, hi ya, it's lovely to see you back on here again. And I am still loving your fungi.

I hope Cath has survived her shopping in town with her mum, and not bought all the shops up.
Marilyn is a bad influence dont ya know. She would not have bought one pair of Jeans, she would have bought them in all shapes, and colours, bless her.

Hope Shelly has been enjoying herself on all the rides. She should be back tonight I would think, unless she has got stuck on top of the Ferris Wheel.

Love to all. Mo xxx

Afternoon all.

Hope there's some improvement with your eye today, Stephen.

Still got my fingers crossed for good results for Rita and Jean.

Foggy, thanks for the update on George, how long is he away for?

Huia, I've had a look at your photos, they're fabulous. You're very lucky to have such beautiful scenery so close to your home.

Cath, you might as well get a new top to go with those new jeans, hasn't Marilyn taught you anything?

So what are you getting off Pete for your birthday Marilyn?

Where's Pat and Dermot today, have they ran off together?

Is it today that Shelly was going away? I think she wrote a couple of lines about it... :-)

Mo's probably putting a new coat of paint of her broomstick so she'll look all posh next month when she goes out flying with Maddie, Stephen and Rita.

Hello Marilyn and others of course. I am keeping well. I dont know if you were aware that my OH is now in care with dementia.

I am off to the Chatham Islands in 10 days time. I am going on an organised tour, with my sister and her OH. The Chatham Islands forget-me-not should be in bloom, plus some of their other mega-herbs. And there are some other interesting things to see. I will be taking lots of photos I hope. Have I told people on here about my photo blogspot? www.nzpicturesbyhuia.blogspot.com if anybody wants to see it.

No, Marilyn, I havent heard from Maria lately. It was a pity that she had to cut her visit to NZ short, but at least she met her dad. She did send me a photo of them together. He looks so old, yet he is the same age as I am. I wonder if I look as old as that? I dont feel it.

Huia (off to town soon).

Hi Foggy,

Thanks for the message from George...Aww he must be missing us just think he'll be so bronze he'll blend nicely with my tan :-D LOL

Cath my Grt Grandmother came from Dublin, I would feel at home there ..
Hither Green is in Lewisham . I know it well I used to live in Eltham.
would not want to go there now ... I'm not sure if Shelly has that cemetery,
I'll go take a look for you.....

EDIT..

Cath..... I have just looked at Shelly's graves and I cant see Hither Green on her list....but she may have not enter all her graves yet ...SO its possible she may have some from there.

Night all.......ZZZZZZZZ

Now I have been doing my friends tree today and I must admit I have sat all day on the god forsaken Laptop !! but I did cook a roast dinner in between .

Stevey ,,,you need a voluptuous NURSE for that eye of yours I can always pretend to be one with your permission .. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
How I get to Scotland in my jet lag is another story ..LOL so Mrs Stevey will have to be that voluptuous nurse instead .....

Hi Pauline

I didnt know that about Stephen, my son had a car accident , when he was 18 and lost the sight in one eye he is now 54 and still has to go to the hospital for check-ups. we thought we had lost him at the time. it was a nightmare,
I lived in Willesden, Ealing , Perivale Greenford and Norfolk and lived there a long time being born in Willesden. but after going back and seeing the places now I would not like to live there, Norfolk is different, but the other places are not what they were.

I am not surprised your cousin wanted to move out of London it better to get out now while they can and let the children grow up somewhere nice.

Afternoon all.

The weather can't make it's mind up what it wants to do here, one minute it's stotting down and the next minute the sun's cracking the pavements.

Rita, Stephen's eye problem is from an injury he received while he was in the navy, he nearly lost his eye. I think it's still possible that he could lose it.

Sorry to hear it's troubling you again Stephen, hope they can do something with it.

I've never travelled the world but my dad went around the world a few times with the navy and he said that nowhere was as good as England.

I've always lived in the North East and I'd never want to live anywhere else.

The son of one of my cousins (the one who lives across the road to me) was on Location, Location, Location on Wednesday. He's been living in London for 10 years but when his wife had a baby they decided to come home to live. They wanted their children to grow up here.

My eyes were first spotted 30 yeares ago by an doctor in Wembley he gave me a letter for my doctor marked urgent. I was sent to Moorfields in London. and saw a consultant, he said it was high blood pressure. I told him I was moving to Norfolk, so he gave me a letter for Mr Black at the local hospital he told me I did have it and it needed treatment so put me on eye drops, I use to have to go every 6 months to see him. then when I moved to Surrey I had another consultant, the head one, he said I needed three eyes drops so I had two for the morning and three for the evening, after a visit I was told I only needed two in the morning and two at night. now I have had a letter saying I need three at night. I dont go back till next february,

We have a lovely day here bright and sunny a little cooler than it has been. I cannot get use to having all the lettering on my keyboard for months I have had letters vanish 6 went completely the other three started going.
