Yes I always go to Post Date, which then gives latest post first and does read backwards so to speak. Been doing that for ages !!
Got on OK at the gym.
Then had a phone call from our daughter to see if we could look after the spaniel as she has got a cold bug and feels as if she has no energy. So over we went and now have a spaniel sitting at my feet. We have already taken him for a walk round the lake.
So much exercise.

Computer is slow and I had wanted to do some research, but I ended up reading instead.

Glad all is as expected Stephen.

well I try the normal way first and when it comes up error I try again and go on the pages before the last lot then when that come up I click onto the following numbers to get through. it normal works but sometimes it does not work. mainly it does.

My friend called with this i months WDYTYA magazine for November. she has not read it yet. she said I know you have ancestors who worked in the coal mines in Glamorgan Wales. well this DVD has the mines from Glamorgan which is headed Find your Welsh KIN.it cover from 1893 - 4 in Cardiff and later in Glamorgan mines.. so I am looking forward to looking at that. I might even find my mlssing Absalom
It also says their is to be a new series of Heir Hunters. and it is being moved to an Evening slot it starts later this year but will be on BBC 2.
so something to look forward too.

I was contemplating about having a new Friendly Thread as I always thought it took for ages to get on the Friendly Thread being so long ..having to go 1371-1377 in order to get to the last page 1377.....it did not always work sometimes having to go back a few pages further then get the last page etc...

But Pauline clever brains on Friendly, has cured my stupidity and told me to click on Post date,then its bang on the last Page !!!!!! upside down maybe ..LOL

Boy was that sore ! I was so glad to get those high heels off :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|

The doctors are pleased at the progress being made, my right eye has stabilised now. Just to continue with my medication for another two weeks and take care of things. Nothing else can be done. A slow deterioration will be the order of the day unless something major goes wrong.

Haven't been on as I have been ( with help ) decorating the rest of my house.
It seemed silly not to seeing as what has been done looks so good.

The plumber's just been........... again. I've been getting isolator valves put on the pipes, just in case we have any more problems with them.

Rita, it's like winter here as well, sunny but very cold. According to the forecast, the south of the country is going to get warm weather on Monday............ but we aren't getting it.

I think the difference in temperature is going to be a shock to Pat when she gets to Scotland next week.

Stephen, have you been inhaling glue? :-D :-D Hope it goes well at the hospital for you............ even if you do go as a drag queen. :-D :-D

Morning everyone it is like a winter morning here. I have my long sleeved jumper on and long skirt. how could it be so warm one minute and so cold the next ? hope your hospital visit goes well Stephen.

I am going to sort cupboards out today see what I can take to the charity shop. I dont intend going out in this cold weather to day.

Stephen this was a workhouses where great Grandfather went into. the books of these you would never beleive how big they are, (This is London ) my sister and I said, how could people lift these to write in them. no wonder they called them workhouses it was hard work lifting one.

His son my Grandfather George was put into a home when his mother died as his father was unable to support him. he went into Boys home named Gorden Boys Home in 1899 for homeless and destitute boys. in Surrey . I have all the paperwork which is signed by Great Grandfather. and the vicar who signed . Great Grandfather at the time was earning £1.1 shilling a week Great Grandfather then went into the Navy for the second time. That home is now a top boys school posh uniforms. Private,
I was invited to go on a tour of the home, after I had brought all the paperwork of Grandftahers life in that home. which was not very pleasant.and brought many tears to my eyes.

by the way the Boys home was named after General Gorden who I understood started the school. when Grandfather left he joined the navy (Royal Marines.)

Brylcream whats left of my hair,
bit of rouge on the cheeks,
just a hint of mascara
and a wee drop lipstick.
Doing that means I'll get taken quickly,
especially if the 'gladrag' is a mini skirt ,
