With a tree like that I wouldn't be worrying about your blood group, I'd be getting DNA tests :-)))))))

Is anyone else having issues with genes tree at the moment... god knows what it's doing but it has a husband and son married to each and his wife is his mother who is married to her daughter in law...miraculously the two women have a son (my 3xggranddad) PMSL and the more I try to straighten it out, the worse it gets LOL

ETA I just closed it and reopened it and it's fine now. Silly thing!

I think O- isn't fairly common, but it's special because they can donate to any other blood group.

So if I am an 0- am I common too?? Lol I hope you know I was told I was special too!!

I am B+ and have tried to give blood loads of times. Always end up having to be given oxygen because I pass out. Doctors have told me to give up

Mum is O, don't know what Dad was. He had blue eyes, Mum has brown - mine are hazel. Brother and sisters all have blue eyes. Dad always said I was the "coal man's"

Excuse any typos, using daughters laptop and half of the keys are missing. ???? !!!

According to Wiki 35% of the UK population have A+ blood... um...sorry. LOL. Not quite as common as O+ though (37%).
B+8% AB+3% O-7% A-7% B-2% AB-1%

Interesting!

I've just been catching up on my genetics and I don't think it's possible for me to have Rh- blood because both parents are Rh+ so I'm thinking I'll be happy with AB+ at 3% of the population LOL

Lol...chuckle, lol

I am special *Smug grin*...only 15% of the country got my group so I am told....doctors are always telling me my blood is needed.....they have to be joking...my arm seizes up at the sight of a needle let alone drawing blood.

~Summer Scribe~ Report 24 Oct 2008 00:20

red?....RED? *Frets*

Well, to be honest I could be A, B, AB or O. They don't make it easy on me to figure it out LOL.

A few years ago it was only a fiver, that's why I went in to ask. Talk about inflation LOL. And mum said, she's free now might as well get it done while here LOL. If I'd had chance to think about it I probably wouldn't have gone to get it done. Is it weird that I'm actually excited about finding out? PMSL.

No amount of tablets can help, I'm afraid LOL

Sue

Sue Report 24 Oct 2008 00:15

You are soooooooo strange, paying to have bloods drawn *rolls eyes and hopes they dont get stuck*

I am A+
Daughter 1 is A+
Son is A+
Daughter 2 is A+
OH is bog standard O

OH has hazel eyes
Daughter 1 has hazel eyes
Son has blue eyes
Daughter 2 has blue eys
I have blue eyes streaked with red.

So that blows your £20 theory...lmao

GET A LIFE GIRL....................OR AT LEAST GET THE RIGHT TABLETS :-))

~Summer Scribe~ Report 24 Oct 2008 00:04

LMAO... what's even more insane is I'm thinking of putting a bet on it. LOL.

Mum is B+
Eldest bro is A+
Think dad is A+

I'm the only child with blue eyes and both parents have brown (1 in 4 chance of blue) so I'm willing to bet I'll also have the most unlikely blood group and expecting to be O (also 1 in 4 chance) LOL. All dependant on if I'm right about dad being A+ though.

Blinky heck, I need to get a life PMSL

PMSL

This will make you think I'm nuts... I voluntarily gave my blood to the hospital vampire because I was curious about what my blood group was LOL....actually that's not quite correct...I PAID them 20quid for the privilege of them sucking out my blood to test PMSL I question my own sanity.

Go polish your halo somewhere else...lmao

Summer,

I could only post one joke sent to me by Jude yesterday otherwise I would have had a long holiday too! I have to forward them all by email...lol

Personally, I feel if I post something and get ridiculed at least I have made an impression!

*limps off to compose something which will be considered complete drivel* :-)))

LOL Sue, nope no chance of misinterpreting at all ;-) Best way to be. And to be honest I don't give a stuff if I get posted elsewhere. Hey, what it is to be famous and quoted... I wish.

Unfortunately, many of the jokes I have are far too rude for GR and I'd be sent on a nice little holiday if I posted them. LOL. Needless to say, my dad told his physio of my unique way of helping him clear his chest... I make him laugh, it makes him cough and he clears it all out... everyone's happy :-)) She thought it was hilarious and said she might have to look at employing that tactic with her patients... he didn't tell her I made him laugh by telling him dirty jokes though PMSL
