Making Christmas Cards? :-)lol I am never that organised to get my shop bought ones posted before the cut off dates the post office have.

Oh Theresa it's not just me that buildings dislike then, I swear the walls at work move slightly over night - I'm forever walking into doorways etc :-)

The Accidental Wife should be put in my letterbox by the Post Office Courier man tomorrow as I've had an email to say it's been dispatched (just wish they'ld release me Dr Who dvds as well) and as I've nearly finished Me and Mr Darcy I might just have both books read by the review date.

Requested both books from the library.
As they had emailed to say both were ready for collection, I went in today prepared to take back my old books and get some more while getting the requested books.

Had to use to self-service machine, put the books in the machine, insert card (at the correct angle) press the right buttons put in pin code etc etc.

I thought that I had done really well .... that was till I was going out and set the alarms off!

Wish me better luck next time.

I have ordered them both from Amazon now. 1p each but £2.75 postage. Tried to find either in Tesco last week but no sign of either. One of them from Amazon is from CRUK and new so doing a good turn at the same time. should be despatched 23rd.

Ann

The Library may be technical, trouble is ...
I'm not!

Still I am just happy that I can get books so (comparetivley) easily.
Can also renew on the phone , if not able to get to there.

Our library, is not as up to date as that, thank goodness. However I am just about to go on line and order the books from them.

Hi Ann,
will be going to the Library next week to get the books.
If they haven't got them in they will order them for me. So may have to wait a week or so.

My Library has now gone self-service! I have to put my returned books into a special machine, press the correct buttons (or was it the screen?) and then post them into the correct box (indicated by an arrow).

If I pass this test I will have to "self-serve" the new ones. Have to take my card and remember my pin code.
Wish me luck,

Tess

Hi Ann, was unable to get on here last night but I would have probably voted for either Me and Mr Darcy or the Welsh Girl so I am happy with the choice.
