ive just rang a funeral directors in his town.

they said cremation is a lot cheaper and with a head stone etc it should be around £4000.

my dad lives 200 miles away from me.


i know it sounds silly but ringing a funeral director makes it sound so final.

But i know i will have to.

Sorry to hear about your father.

Cremation is considerably cheaper but it will then depend on the size and location of the memorial you wish to have.

Best to check it out as Brian suggests

I would suggest ring a couple of funeral directors, put the situation to them and see what they can come up with.

My father is terminally ill with cancer.

we had a family meeting yesterday and found out he has no life insurence.

my question is what is cheaper cremation or burial.

he does mind either way as long as he has a head stone.
