Hiya all,

It's been about 3 years or so since i last used this site, i used to have quite a few contacts back then and spent many a good hour chatting away to good friends i made. My name back then was Deb from Barnsley. I've read quite a few of the board and don't really recognise any of the names unfortunately. It was at a time when some people on here where doing some charity work and i remember something about a bear on a journey around the country...

Would be nice to know if some of the people i chatted to are still using this site.

Anne I couldn't lol but I remember there being a few around, Chunky Monkey and Paul from Hampshire??? being two of them.

I also remember |a Sue from Scotland and Eileen from Scotland whom i still have contact with, a Maggie from Doncaster, yeh i'm on a roll now ....

Aye, that was Chunky Monkey. I don't think he's on here anymore, although I could be wrong. He does post occasionally on ftf.

Ah rite, thats a shame i would love to have caught up with him, wat is ftf by the way?

It's a newer site called Family Tree Forum that formed back in 2006 after the troubles here .........

It's very nice - complete with Moderators so there's never any nastiness .............

cant remember what I was back then always dawnie and her 3 somethings or others.

Did the gaynor bear relay as well passed onto JessBowbagbobbin dont think shes ever got over tiddler running past the carvery and almost taking the joint with her.

Izzy passed to me was only looking at the newspaper clipping the other day of mine and Izzys handover at our firestation sighhhhhh men in uniform.

I remember it was quite a big thing back then, it seemed to take over the whole threads lol, everyone was consumed by it. Bet theres many a story to be told.

I was there then but didn't and don't post much.
