Don't you ever wish there was a *say what you like* amnesty.........where for.........say an hour.......you can lay it all on the line...........without fear of the dreaded request review.........I do. I'd find it quite liberating lol xx

TW I gave myself an enforced break lol - I got to the stage were I typed my true feelings ( made sure I never posted them though ) and thought OMG I'm going to get a ban if I really let rip lol

So I sat back and watched - and within a couple of days I could predict who would start the rows and on which thread lol

I think we've all done that Jessie. I know I sat back and rarely posted for a few weeks, and it's amazing what you can see when you do that.

You need to do what I have done for th elast couple of months - sit back, don't post and watch them come out to play on threads of people they claim to dislike so much - may become GR's resident "bookie" and take bets on who will appear first lol

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 26 Sep 2008 20:40

Odd isn't it J? I have had people swear I'm all sorts of nasty so and so..........and yet they still post on threads I start despite me being such a nasty so and so and despite the fact that they've sworn to keep a distance from me!!!! lol .........I much prefer the keep a long distance approach........but there you go.....I'm clearly irresistable to some lol xx

Well said Muffy, sometimes you see someone stating that they dislike him or her and then before your very eyes they go and post on that persons thread with the only intention to cause trouble - sooooooooo predictable lol

And of course ... then there's the vow to avoid someone's threads, followed by talking about him/her in a thread the other person is avoiding ... hmm.

There's the letter of the vow, and then there's the spirit of the vow. ;)

I quite agree Muffy, I see it time and again, someone saying, 'I will avoid you from now on' or something along those lines, and next day they are back again!

Then they wonder why they either get ignored or get a reaction.

I don't suppose it's unique to these boards, but it does seem more prominent here.

I agree. I tend to avoid threads by people who have p'd me off! Much safer that way!

Why is it so hard...............To ignore threads started by or about people you don't like?........I'm staggered that some people find it so hard to keep away. They claim to dislike the person yet haunt every thread about them or by them and try to turn them. It's really annoying me.

Am I the only person that wonders why on earth they do it?

And it was a very well mannered and good thread so I'm sure the same question can be asked on here without problems seeing as though every one is respecting everyone else on here nowadays........

It wasn't aimed at anyone then and it isn't now.........it's just a general observation.xx
