Hmm, I was born in Cambridge, and in the first 18 years of my life I lived in Cambs for about half of it. The rest was spread between London, Essex, Hampshire and Somerset.

When I got married I moved to Essex and lived there for more than 20 years, now I live in Norwich. Not out of choice but out of necessity, but I like it here.

Nope, I call myself an Essex girl because a) I have lived in Essex longer than I have lived anywhere else and b) all my family are Essex people back to the early 1800's and c) I have the accent and the attitude LOL

Afternoon, I was born in St Pancras, moved to...and I'll try to get it in the right order...Old Coulsdon Surrey, then Purley Surrey. Then, Fulham, then Glasgow, back down south to Kenley Surrey, then Caterham Surrey, then off to Chiswick, then Glasgow again, down to Kenley again, back to Old Coulsdon, then up to Norfolk. That was up to the age of about twelve...parents kept splitting up and lived with my Dad most of the time and my lovely old Nan. This is the longest time that I've lived in anyone county...and think I will stay, it's so nice and peaceful. think I need a rest, I was like a little 'nomad'! Think that it's character forming though, as you do see life!!!!

At about two years we left this part of Derbyshire, and went to live on an island off the West coast of Scotland, about 60 years ago. Stayed there until I was just over eight years. Dad then realised he could not get sufficient employment to sustain a family of five, after coming out of the Royal Navy. We came back to our home turf
Since marriage,I have lived further up county in Debyshire, short spell in Nottinghamshire, and down in Oxfordshire, before coming back to the same place again.
My ideal would be the same as its only me
