But on the good side i just had a thought. My eldest daughter is a scientist with a degree in physics also and she hasnt yet contacted me to say farewell to her dear mama. So I being optimistic.

	LMAO Janet. Won't need no candles if it all goes to hell in a handbasket. But I find the idea that they could create a mini universe quite amusing. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose...Unless someone wants to break in and nick the plug off it?

	If we're all consumed in a black hole it'll make me cross. Instead of buying all those certificates, subscribing to ancestry, genes and Scotlands people I could have bought chocolate, fags and booze! No point in leaving your tree to SOG if your planet implodes! And the Vogon constructor ship doesn't arrive til Thursday. B****r!

	it's underground in Switzerland actually! stephen hawking is betting that it won't even work apparently. lots of kids (including mine, but see Mildred's thread) are seriously very scared by these rumours and really think that terrible things are going to happen I'm with stephen hawking - I reckon sweet fanny adams will happen!
