Thanks Tania. I keep an epipen in the car and theres a note on the dash - and I wear a medi-alert bracelet as well.

Most of the time its just a severe vomiting bout, but they said it can go anaphylactic anytime. No point in worrying too much, I'm pretty careful and tend to eat stuff I have grown, brewed or killed myself most of the time.

Eldrick nut allergy is a pain because as someone has already said so many foods are processed in the same factory where they process nuts, restaurants can be a nightmare.
often these allergies can worsen with exposure.
if I can give you some candid advice ,if it were me or someone in my family I would have 2 epipens
One in my vehicle at all times and another in the house and I would make sure they were close by.
A full on anaphylatic reaction is swift and can be fatal.
I would also wear a medic alert bracelet .

No Eldrick 2 if you have a severe nut allergy, CPR wont save you unless the medics can get air into you and as your airways will swell....oops sorry I promised Eldrick that I would stay off his threads....but then again I'm not sure who Eldrick2 is yet so maybe I'm excused

You're right about peanuts Eldrick, they are not actually nuts, they are a type of pea (hence the name)

Someone I know had a really bad reaction to the green triangle chocolates in a certain box of chocolates. Very slight nut content.

Eldrick, don't leave your pen in the car, you need it in your pocket at all times. Not a nice way to go.
