Seems strange seeing pictures of people in Las Palmas airport. We've been there many times and will be there in about 5 weeks time. Will be thinking of all those people.

OMG

153 dead including 20 children and 2 infants...........So so awful.

I am praying for the families of those involved, including the recue crews who must have some horrific memories.

The spanish people are very religious too, so I bet it will be a strange place to be tonight. They will probably have a period of mourning.

My daughter was living in Madrid at the time of the bombings and told about the candles being lit every where.

Just found this thread again, and really sad that Paul felt that he had to spoil it.

Why can't people stay out of threads they don't like, instead of causing trouble.

Just please spare a thought for all the people affected by this awful plane crash today.
