Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 5 Jun 2008 23:43

When I told my husband he said to NOT mention it to one of our friends who paints the white lines down motorways etc during the night.

He is such a mad begger he would probably drive down there and paint something awful outside his house!

Maggy, if you have a dropped kerb to your property then it is illegal to park across them, the same where there is a dropped kerb for wheelchairs and prams

Hi Shelli,

I have to go down that road early in the morning so am going to have a look at how much he has painted over.

The whole point of those double yellows painted where they are is to avoid accidents.

Ah, but, I have a drive which our car goes in, Errol. Pity the rest of our street doesn't do the same!

I would love to sneek out in the middle of the night and paint double yellows all down the street....lol...

I know where you mean Aileen, and it will cause problems with the traffic flow if there is a car parked too close to the junction won't it??

Also, can't the car be ticketed even if the lines are no longer visable? Am sure if the lines are weather worn a car still be ticketed can't it? So same rule must/should apply in this case?

Let LBS deal with it about time they did some work

He wasn't being that discreet about it either. He was painting away while talking to a man and woman and it can't have been only me who saw him.

Where it comes out onto Beynon Road from The Beeches. You turn right to go down my road towards you or left and you are at the lights by St Philomena's.
