Oh what an exciting life we lead eh?

OH once took me camping. Lol, girls ... said nice quiet place, tent big enough for 6 ... he has good imagination! So small could hardly fit, quiet ... no wonder, express train whizzed >>>>through, 3.4 times a night! Lol! Still married!

Forgotten what romantic camping is like we have three kids sharing our tent lol! we did plan to camp this week but decided against it and have booked into a B&B instead.

Think good idea hun, son used to be a Scout (passed Duke of Ed, :)), washed out more than once when camping lol.

You can still have fun, Shimmer likes to wear rainclothes, wellies, jump in puddles. Doesn't wear them when she goes out somewhere nice though lol!

The only romantic bit about it is the candles out side to keep beasties away when you are having your pot noodle lol.

We used to go when the kids were young. Stopped for years as OH said ' oh to hang with that, hotels are better lol. But,we went twice last year and will be going the second time in a few weeks again. He even said we should get new sleeping bag's,so looks like we are back into it again.

You get some good sites now. Still not nice if it rains though, esecially if the midgies are out :((

OH's bro and family always camped - 4 children, largest tent. Had great great time, used to sit listen to them, so many happy memories.

Lol T, sky's like GR boards recently: blue, white, grey, sun, no sun, could rain here too - oh, there goes the gardening!!!

Decided to leave the washing out, didn't feel like getting drowned, did my hair nice this morning and don't want to spoil it LOL!!!! I will bring it in later when it has calmed down a bit. Damn Parrot was right after all folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T, u ever read ms thread? It's a play, really funny, written by me and ms', there's a parrot in that too!

No i havn't u will have to pm it to me. Thanks for the compliment it's not often i have a good hair day haha. I absolutley hate getting it wet cos it just sticksto me head and looks a blooming mess. Sun has come out yippee!!

Sun gone now,but shone this morning for a few hours.Just got back from the beach,gr children been in sea.
I sat with a coat on as I thought It was cold and windy.Oh to be young again

I felt so sorry for you all there in Britian with your bank holiday week-end and the rain teeming down.

We had a lovely week-end here in Ireland, got very windy though. We had a little rain this morning but its been dry since. It's probably waiting for our bank holiday next week-end...........Isn't that typical.
