Doc yes you have a valid argument there re insects...and thus on to the creatures that feed on them.....if I knew the answer I'd be clever !..

but does occur to me that insects are among the most adaptable of creatures ..mosquitos seem to prefer my blood to that of the sheep in the field by me lol...



so I think I will make some coffee and ponder the 'easier' question of how to stop volcanoes........hmmmm

Thing is,, yes we are contibuting to gas in the atmosphere, but with everything else, it is only the last 100 yrs or so things have been recorded, it has all happened before, we just don't have it on paper.

Hi Rose, your opinion is valuable, don't forget that.

We are just like the rest of living animals, some for vegie some for meat, but if we look at it the right way, "IF" such an event were to be enforced to stop breeding of such animals, yes they would soon die off and be gone from sight, what would then become of many countless insect life that rely on such feeding to survive, they as well would die off and it soon become a domino effect.

it is early and i am not with it....

but isn't there a case for saying that cows are only there to be "got rid of" anyway?!

Surely when they talk about 'gas producing' animals they are referring to the breeding of livestock to feed the ravenous appetite for burgers etc lol

are you really suggesting that the cows would acually know the difference?! between dying to stop global warming and dying to produce a steak?

A simple question;
In regards to global warming and the potential probs they talk of.

What happens to water when it is frozen?

What happens to ice when it melts?

Just think of how great it would be for our great grand children to sit an look at a hologram of a tree or moo cow, and those insects that turned the finished product back into earth.

Why don't they look at real ways to cut down on greenhouse gas. Look at all the lights left on day and night in places like Las Vegas, America is full of them. And other countries.

Motor racing of all kinds, no, they get too much money from them!! Not going to stop that.

Tax the poor old man in the street for trying to get to work, put up the tax on them car's, it's easier isn't it.
