O.K. but at some point I'll have a look.

Sunday internet is like bank holiday weekends on the roads - too much traffic! lol

It's slow enough with broadband - feel sorry for those on dial-up.

Uggers Report 4 May 2008 18:26

Hi Jean - doesn't give a discharge address but his mother and brother James are in Pickering Street and his brother Maurice is on the Pentonville Road.

No, I need to try soundex when it's working a bit better, Kay - thank you.

Claire, I'm not sure if that's him or if he's the one in Hoxton. Could be neither of course:) But people born in Clerkenwell don't usually give their place of birth as City of London, although he was born around St Sepulchre so it's possible.

I don't think Jeremiah Sullivan would have been alllowed to marry John Platt in 1900 lol

Uggers

Uggers Report 4 May 2008 18:22

Claire, well there is that but the only Sullivan I can find marrying a Platt is Jeremiah lol

My Fanny's an Ann

Uggers

Uggers Report 4 May 2008 18:15

I'm feeling more tempted to accept them now Jac thank you:))

Hi Kay, she wasn't married by 1891 and was only 18 then but I have done a search for a Platt marrying a Frances or Fanny, no surname and nothing comes up. But then, in John's records (and this is 1914), he doesn't know where she's living so she could be anywhere...
