One of my long hair cats has phases of projectile vomitting now and then. Doesnt happen for months, then does it for several days on the trot. It is always after eating food (dried or tinned) or milk and quite often happens as she is walking away from her food dish. Never known her to be sick any other way/time, nor have I seen her bring up any fur balls - maybe that happens when she is outside. |

Athena, she does the same with tinned food. The vet said it is because she is such a 'nervy Nellie'.The other cat, a large black female is getting fatter and fatter, so much so, her legs seems to be getting shorter. We know she must do the rounds of other people's houses, greedy old fool.Lol. Lovely cat though.I have had countless cats over the years.Completely different characters, like people. |

I have 2 cats - brother and sister.. The little girl is hardley ever sick, but the male.. he goes through fazes.. he wont be sick for ages and then he is constantly sick for 2 weeks - food and furbulls. I comb him every day now with the winter coat being lost. But I have also noticed - if he has eaten and then goes chasing after his sister he will throw up.. Always a nice sound that is lol |

Claddagh - could be because that dry food swells up in their stomach and probably makes them feel quite bloated and icky. |

One of my daughters has two cats. One is a small tortoiseshell-coloured female, who was rescued from being drowned in a sack. She is a very nervous cat, we have never actually seen her eat in all the 17 years my daughter has had her.She is sick at least once a day, leaves a little pile of undigested (dry) food for us to slide on.Other than that, she is healthy. |

My cat, Pepsi, is also a cat that throws up. He goes through phases of it every couple of weeks and it'll last a few days. It usually happens just after he's eaten and the whole lot comes up. I have a feeling it's because he's got a furball at that time that he can't get up. |
