One thing BT told me to do when I had problems, was to wire the laptop into the router. This will determine if it is a problem with your wireless adaptor or not. If you can connect with it wired, then the adaptor is the problem. |

It is quite possible that you have inadvertently turned wan (wireless area network) off on your laptop. |

Turn wireless off by pressing the wireless button which again I think is located on the front edge |

Have you run the diagnostics on the internet icon in the taskbar? (the two little computers) If you right click on it, you shoudl see a menu, click on diagnose and repair. |

ok now restart wifi and if you right click on the icon in the taskbar it may give you the option of viewing available networks. |
