Delboy1978 Report 14 Apr 2008 12:03

Hi everyone!

I managed to finish the marathon yesterday, was a fantastic day and im so proud of myself!

It was nice and sunny for the first ten miles and the crowds where fantastic! then it rained and rained hard with wind thrown in!! then is stopped and became sunny again!!!

By mile 18 my legs began to tire and i could feel my self flagging...i was on course for a 4hr 40 but by mile 22 i had to run walk as i was in soo much pain mainly in my hips and then it rained hard again i was drenched..... then mile 25 was coming up so i ran through the pain and ran to the finish line! my time was 5hr 08. I was just glad i got to end to get my medal!

Many thanks for the people who supported me on here with sponsorship and donations and messages.

below is my times
