Well done Del, I was wondering how Buster got on he was the oldest runner 101 and if he finished the race he would be the oldest marathon runner to finish anywhere in the world.

i passed her quite early on! i think she did it in about 6 hours she has done marathons before

I havnt loaded it joy..the batteries in me digital cam conked out so its on charge at the moment.

Thanks guys for the messages......... i did get sponsored Maz, did it for the British Heart Foundation and raised just under 1200 hope to get more over the coming weeks

Oh how wonderful - that was my absolute dream to run in the marathon - the old knees have gone now so I guess I wont do it. But many congrats to you and all those who did.

i know the rain kicked in twice..the first time was ok as it was early on but the next time was at mile 22 and it was a bit haily too.. there was some respite as we had to go through some tunnels and under bridges!

yep my first time and i loved it!!! i hope i get in next year!!

well done you..... I was race side yesterday and every single runner deserves a medal for attempting it as that rain was god awful for spectators let alone you lot
