I have two dogs, one an angel, the other the devil... lol
the devil (as a pup) ate my new carpet, my suite, two phones, remote controls, shoes, knickers, socks, wall paper. He went to the toilet where ever he felt like including on top of my coffee table!!!
The angel never ate anything and went to the toilet in the correct place, thankfully my devil has now at the age of 11 grown into quite a nice devil even though he still runs around the house like a pup.
After all the upset he has caused i still love him to death and i'm broody too for the patter of tiny paws in my house......... i must be mad!! lol

Joy knit away just remember the need 4 arm/legs openings just as .....errrr but in diff places

Thanks hon........I'll go and have a gander at them tomo.......I have room in my heart for another I know I do........I love my dogs almost (but obviously not quite) the same as my kids....I don't take them on lightly they stay with me for life.xx

Oh, Robin! You've disillusioned me! Just read your first posting and I thought, well, I can't disagree, but I do love dogs ............. and I'd love a dog myself ............

Muffy all I can say is I was a no dog family for once fancy free and do what we want .....

then we went to look at fostering ( the odd walk or weekend) and came home with our 1st adoptee .

That was cool (eventually ) but she was going to be an only child.
Then one day I went shopping and found a shivering wreck ....so I took it to the vet .....he would know what to do ..




so I am now a 2 dog family and my girls rule me , so go and look at the pups you don't have to have !!!!

I'm actually really level headed where getting pups is concerned if they aren't right for us.......I don't get them. They have to be *cosmic*.

Maybe I'll just pop in tomorrow to make sure they AREN'T cosmic.........just to set my mind at rest......... lol xx

pmsl Stray i've always (up to now) stuck to the rule that I don't get a pup til oldest dog is 8......it has always worked so well........two young ones play together like loonies and the eldest one stays with me and gets old lady/man privileges........
My eldest Fleur is no where close to needing old lady privileges......thank goodness..... she's like an over grown pup ....it's pure WANT on my part really....... I think I just miss having an old lady/man by my side it's not really even puppy hunger I have .......BUT I can't take an old dog in as my house is too hectic and I can't be sure of an older dogs temprament.... It's the steady old un I miss I think.......xx

i got my blinds fitted on the thursday
