Now, on the subject of school trips........

In the sixth form we had this idea, borne from our science education. Which involved injecting satsumas with vodka.

A very jolly time was had by all. A whole new meaning to having your "five a day"

Happy days

Tartan scarves at sunrise, Carla.

Didn't think anyone would get the "hello, mudder, hello fadder" one.

BUT - I do believe the original Dizzy was someone called Tommy Roe?

You win the teapot!

Some 70s stuff.....

We took the bow and made a stand,
started swaying with the hand
A sudden motion made me stiff,
now we're into a brandnew trip

Well, my daddy left home when I was three
And he didn't leave much to Ma and me
Just this here guitar and an empty bottle of booze.
Now, I never blamed him cause he run and hid

First time that I saw you, girl, I knew that I just had to make you mine
But it's so hard to talk to you with fellas hangin' round you all the time
I want you for my sweet pet
But you keep playin' hard to get

Picked up a boy this side of Mobile
Gave him a ride, fed him with a hot meal
I was 16, he was 21

And this one will test you, methinks!

I went hiking with Joe Spivy
He developed poison ivy
You remember Leonard Skinner
He got ptomaine poisoning last night after dinner.

Hope you enjoy this lot

Lol Sue

Indeed it was Sara, Muffy.

Ref the befuddled brain, perhaps you've been drinking too much Pina colada - or walking in the rain?

Think of Andrew and MUFC and you're half way there with Fleetwood Mac, Muffy! Cryptic clues are us. While you're thinking, how about setting a few of your own?

Who's gonna hang it up
When you call
DRIVE BY THE CARS
I was tired of my lady,
We've been together too long.
Like a worn-out recording,
Of a favorite song.
So while she lay there sleeping,
I read the paper in bed.
And in the personals column,
There was this letter I read:

I got my first real six-string
Bought it at the five-and-dimeSUMMER OF 69 BRYAN ADAMS

Wait a minute baby
Stay with me awhile
Said you'd give me light
But you never told me about the fire

A mate of mine used to insist we played spot the lyric every time we went in the car to the pub (quite a lot in my mis-spent youth)so I'm a fund of song lyrics!!!!
lol-I'll stop now though (don't want to annoy),thanks,I enjoyed that. :)
