I only gave the paperwork to my Doctors surgery yesterday for him confirm that I still have the same condition as 2 years ago! What a palaver!

The paperwork was supposed to be sent back in February - so I am very late, but surely it does not matter as people are applying for passes all the time.

Surely our old passes are still valid until we have a new one - I certainly hope so as I go to work 4 days a week and cannot afford the bus fares on my part time pittance. LOL

hiya val. aw we r ok thanx,hope you and your family is.mine came last sat, but some people were getting there passes on our bus staition at the information shop x

I haven't got the photos done for mine yet, didn't bother when I was 60 last year as I knew I would need a replacement this month, but in Norwich our local council are so behind sending them out, no one has had theirs yet! Useless lot! Will apply soon and hope I get it before too long.

Hey up Sandra how you both keeping, my new pass has not come yet looks as if i will have to pay to catch the 8.30 bus think it's 1.60 here Valxxx

Ireland has them for a long time used to be that you could only use them after 9.45a.m. and not between 4.30 and 6.30p.m. rush hours. People going to and coming from work, but now they can be used all day includes Northern Ireland and Republic also Disability books.

In Wales we've had them for years and can travel all over the country on them - we also get free prescriptions too!!

I dunno, I shall be reading the leaflet more closely and investigating on the behalf of my parents.

I thought that too Summer - between 9.30am and 11pm.
Wonder how they can do that?

I thought these new bus passes were supposed to give free travel on local buses. But one of the local services in our county has said they will have to buy a £5.75 charge for the journey...granted it's a long journey, but all the same.

Lol Sandra - luv it - a bus driver with a SOH. The majority of drivers on our local buses appear to have suffered a charisma bypass.

And there has been a delay in posting out the new bus passes.
