Oh no, that sounds ominous Mau, I too hope it isn't your special blackbird. We have one too, and I get worried for him, two of the neighbours cats come into the garden, altho mainly under cover of darkness luckily, I always know when they are about as the security lights go on. |

One of our neighbours Mau has an aviary in his garden, and whilst having Sunday dinner I noticed this bird, just hanging in the air, hovering over the neighbour's garden in the stiff breeze...... |

Don't worry about the kites - they are scavengers and feed primarily on carrion. They won't attack songbirds. |

Red Kites are fantastic looking birds Sally rare and mostly nest in Wales but lots seen now here and in Scotland. |
