Concierto d'Aranjuez by Rodrigo is one of my favourites.

But there are many other pieces I love too.

I like Vaughan Williams but have to say if I need a good old cheery up that Holst (sp) Planets is marvellous !! Makes you all determined and bold!

I dont mind classical muffy althugh I dont know a lot about it - its nice to have on when in the bath and stuff. But Opera ........ I havent found a peice I like ....but I havent really looked either. Its never appealed to me.

I know what you mean Maddie. I like what I like but I don't know most of the time what exactly that is.

I have an opera album too that I put on occassionally and warble along to when I'm on my own. I'd love to learn more about both classical and opera xx

Muffs my Favourite subject! I did a degree in music!!

To name my best ones is so hard but.......


Anything by Vivaldi,


Allegris miserere,

Barbers adagio,


Mozart.............anything...hes sublime


Handels concertos,


Haydns creation and symphonies,


Vaughan Williams is a national treasure as is Elgar, Butterworth,Walton, Brittan, Finzi, Gurney,Arnold and many more

Bach is superb, Brandenburgs are just the start



i could go on and on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ravels piano concerto for the left hand. I am no buff either - im not very good with classical music but I know what I like if that makes sence.

Mine is Adagio in G minor by Albinoni ........first heard it at the end of the film Gallipoli and I've loved it ever since........

I'm no classical music buff but I'd like to be educated....what's your favourite classical piece? xx
