I had to delete one of my posts because I had repeated it because I didn't think it had gone through the first time......does music make anyone else cry because they find it beautiful ?

Love to you Tina and wishing you calm,

Ann, I love welsh choirs, when I was at uni there were several Welsh members, one became a close mate,

Yes, thanks Caz - I was quite frightened by it, as we would never have anybody call at this time of night and if it was my sister coming back for some unknown reason would use the door knocker or ring me first to say she was outside.

Panic over! But it will unsettle me for the rest of the night, the rotten person who ever it was.

ooh, someone has just knocked on our glass in the door hubby thinks I am imagining it! But I have just come in and closed the front gate and now it is open. Probably some drunk OH has gone out and shut the gate and shouted out hello to ever is out there, but its given me a right fright!

Glad Im not totally alone. Sorry have changed the subject.

Caz,
Another Classical music fan!
I am a pianist and got my A.R.C.M and L.R.A.M way back in the 1950's.
Do you play the piano or another instrument?
We have Classic FM on all day as my O.H doesn't play but is very knowledgeable, and we have stacks of old vynil records that he bought a machine to put them all on to CD's,but it's still in the box.

My favourite composers are Beethoven Chopin and Mozart.

GOOD EVENING GUYS:))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Just logged on for the night lol been out all day with Sis.

I have a very diverse range of music loves. It can be classical music to opera to rock. If I like a piece of music I like it no matter what genre it is. I like musicals as well my all time favourite is Sound of Music and you can always hear me (screaching) Mother Superior Climb Every Mountain in my kitchen! LOL.

I would love to have been an opera singer and believe that one of my rellies was or is an opera singer. I have yet to find that out.

I have a fair collection of classical although not really up on the names of any particular pieces of music :)

I do like Vivaldis Four Seasons, also Puccinni Humming Chorus, Pachabel and also a favourite of mine is Emperor by Beethoven which is a fantastic bit of music.

Elgar, Pavane music for a dead princess....Barber's Adagio for Strings.....Stravinski's Rite of Spring and Debussy's L'apre midi d'un Faun which is a strange piece of music to me, but was choreographed by Nijinsky....I find the opening flute music haunting.....

Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 (Bach)

Satie = symphonia (something French that I can't spell!)

Lots of other bits (listen to Classic FM at work with the headphones on as it cuts out a lot of the chatter. I write down my favourite bits and then listen again and then decide if I want to buy/download or whatever. Some totally brilliant stuff.)
