Errol was this my thread? I have been on phone last couple of hours but see you popped in. You had password and dress code which was tongue in cheek and I cant see anyone knocking you down in flames.

If I didnt say anything its cos as most people know that was in there I had to deal with a real life issue and and put GR on hold for an hour or two.

I dont think I do cliques - but I do make up my own mind who I do dont chat to as I am sure all of us do - to a certain degree. You have never offended me Errol.

Yer Errol it is copied, it put it better than I could explaine.
I don't know how a clique nowadays is different than the definition????

I have no idea what thread you are talking about. Were there people on there that you have had a run in with before?

We have all been ignored on threads at one time or another. Don't take it personally.

I'm the same as Rose......but they say fools rush in......I just add, if anyone is interested in what I have to say that's OK......and if not, that's OK too.....

I don't think you have to fit in Errol, whatever your views, they are yours and as valid as anyone elses.....

Deb that is a fabulously copied definition and I agree with it wholeheartedly but I think these days clique goes further - I tried to add to a thread earlier and was really shot down in flames because I didn't fit

no...i don't....i flit here and there ...if people like me they do and if they don't they don't! lol...

Doesn't matter to me if someone seems to be in one 'clique' or another....and re the boards ,well i speak to people who might be seen to be in opposing cliques ....lol....

Deb Vancouver (18665) Report 14 Mar 2008 23:14

clique (IPA:/'klɪk/) is an exclusive group of people who share common interests, views, purposes, or patterns of behavior. A clique is a subset of individuals from a larger group, who are more closely identified with one another than the remaining members of the group, and who exchange something among themselves, such as friendship, affection, or information.

A clique has an informal structure, and it is composed of more than two people. All the members of the group have some type of relationship with one another, and thus the group is tightly knit together as a type of social network.
