Gems, sorry you were not pregnant. please don't shut your partner out though, it is not his fault. And at least there appears to be no reason why you should not get pregnant. But I agree with whoever said you need to stop trying. Many years ago i had no trouble having my first but couldn't seem to fall for a second, after 6 years we decided to short term foster. The fist foster baby I had, i got pregnant, wasn't even thinking about it.

Gems.....................I understand how you feel, but remember that you and your partner are a couple first, with or without children.

The drive to have a child is immensly strong, I know, but it is so important to make him feel as loved as ever.........find time for each other to talk over how you both feel and work to keep your relationship on track.

I wish you both all the luck in the world.

Gems, don't be despondent, just start right now eating all the right things, not smoking if you do, and cut down on alcohol if you drink, and take folic acid. Get your body in peak condition for baby making and don't do anything without precautions for a couple of months or more, so you get really fit. Then have a brill time and I am sure your wish will be granted.
I did that when I was going to be trying for a baby and got pregnant in a week, at the age of 34!
Much better to give a baby the very best start in life and get your o.h. in on it too, smoking and alcohol can damage sperm too.
Google 'preparing for pregnancy' and there is loads of good info.

Have fun and good luck, let us know how you are getting on.

Well with all the excitment over the last week, I am very very sad to say that I am not pregnant, I have done numerous tests and had a confirmation from my doctor.
It is true to say that I am very disapointed to say the least.
I felt so sure i am pregnant. but obvioulsy i am not.

I have become very paranoid and wont let my partner near me as i was so getting used to the idea of having a child that now it seems like its been taken away from me.

I just thought id post, for those ladies who keep asking how I am.

Kind regards
Gems

I intend to fully pamper myself tomorrow! It was all so out the blue and a complete shock, but I have really ended up liking the idea and now to think that it could all not happen just seems really sad and very very disapointing :-(

Anyway I will let you know!

Gem

when I was trying for my first nothing happened and I would go up to 90 days between periods. Was fed up of it all so went to Drs and after loads of tests showed my body thought I was pregnat all the time(See weird body I have).
He gave me some vitamin tabs or something and they made me feel sick which they shouldnt of as there was nothing in them to affect me.
He sent off another urine sample hospital kindly lost it sohad to do another one and when I went into his room he said what would you say if I said your pregnant my reply was can I sit down.

Maybe your body is just throwing a hissy, it will happen when you least expect it.

Gems.....................I know it is really easy for me to say this, but try to relax, your hormones can go all over the place when you're stressed.

I really hope you get a positive result soon................I remember so well waiting for confirmation of my first pregnancy.
