Stand in bath, unhook shower head and hose from attachment, lean forward a bit with head forward and down a bit, and wet your hair, turn off water, shampoo hair and repeat first part with shower attachment again till well rinsed.
If you don't think you can lean forward enough and water might trickle down, get a clean bin bag and cut hole for head and arms and wear it into shower, and follow instructions from unhook shower head etc.
Make sure no one can see you lol
Hope this works, makes you feel lots better when your hair is clean, doesn't it?

As you know I have not long had an op and still have a large dressing on the wound which is still stitched and has to be kept dry.
The wound is roughly an inch under my left b**b.

My hair badly needs washing now, I can't bend forward over the bath.
Any (sensible) suggestions as to how I can keep the dressing dry while washing my hair under the shower over the bath.
