THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE WITH THEIR OWN HIPS REPLYING ON HERE.(ti cheek) It was meant for ovalteenies (how many recognise that).
Wilfred Pickles - "Give him the money Barney (Colehan)'. He also had a TV series which I liked 'ask pickles' - he used to trace long lost people type of thing.
The "we three, the happidrome" - wish we could all join in with that one.

Thanks for the interest. Good listening. Happy days

Does anyone else remember 'Journey into Space'?
Wasn't Andrew Faulds was the hero Jet Morgan?

Moggie Report 19 Feb 2008 13:19

The Wilfred Pickle's show was called
Have a Go. I must admit I cheated and Googled for the name and found these words from the show's song.

"Have a go, Joe, come on and have a go
You can't lose owt, it costs you nowt
To make yourself some dough.
So hurry up and join us, don't be shy
and don't be slow.
Come on Joe, have a go!"

Closing song:

Call round any old time and make yourself at home,
Put your feet on the mantle-shelf,
Tune in your wireless and help yourself,
We don't care if your friends have left you all alone
Rich or poor, knock at the door,
and make yourself at home.

Thanks Janice. Problem with a quiz is that it calls for quick re-actions - often leading to muddle. Just testing the water this morning.

Happy days

Hi Harry - just re-read questions and realised you had asked for characters for No.3 - sorry - will try to put brain in gear before you come up with another quiz.

Maybe Radio Memories would make a good thread?
