Tell them you can only please one person at a time and today is not their day and tomorrow is not looking hopeful either!

Your day, your wedding do what ever pleases you and your bride.

Hope you have a lovely day.

It's your wedding don't let others decide how you spend your special day. When i got married it was a jeans and tee shirt wedding in church. We still had guests fork out pounds for new suits and dresses. We still got married and enjoyed our day.

Jackie. You can't please everyone, so please yourselves.
After all, it's your big day, not theirs.

Jackie and Malc..............

'People' ' are turning the most important day of your lives into a living hell....tis up to you to turn the tables......

Personally I would disappear, get married quietly and treasure being man and wife...
because at the end of the day you are the only two persons who matter.

I wish you a long and loving life together.

Begger everyone else, its your wedding.

If they cant make it because this or that aint right, then its their loss.

Start living life for yourselves, and please yourselves.

Remember it doesnt matter what colour the flowers are, or the venue, or the cake if its just so, all you will have is eyes for each other and that all that matters

How very dare they!!! Who the hell do they think they are!! They are invited guests and should be glad they are. Your wedding, your choice - full stop.
You just concentrate of having a beautiful day - it's your day, both of you, and I'm sure your happiness will shine through and wipe out all the negativity

Jean (Monmouth) Report 15 Feb 2008 19:36

Ignore any criticism, they are just jealous of your happiness. Life goes on and so must you.,. Have a lovely day and let the harpies get on with it. All the best in the future. Jean

I agree with Jude. Do what YOU want to do - don't bother telling anyone what you're doing or where you're having it - send them an invitation - they can either come or not!!!

In reality it has absolutely nothing to do with anyone else - YOUR wedding, YOUR choice.

Remember the old song-'You can't please everybody, so you might as well please yourself' LOL

We are paying for it, including the coach to take everyone to the dogs and back!!

Even had guests telling me what flowers they want in their corsages!! they all want different things.

Now the big debate is whether I should wear my wedding dress to the reception or not. I would go naked but I don't want to frighten the dogs!!

Jackie, it's YOUR wedding day, it should be what and where you want it. It's not up to other people and quite frankly, if they can't be bothered to make an effort for you and be happy for you then they are not worth running around after anyway.

You have YOUR day, and enjoy it. Make it a day for YOU TWO to remember. Tough luck on the others.
