I also breast fed my son until he was about that age. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever in my opinion.

Jamie normally jumps into the shower with me. It used to be my only 5 minutes of peace! :-((

If I ever get the chance to have a bath then it would be great to soak alone, but I have to leave it until Jamie is in bed or he will take his clothes off and try to hop in. The other thing is the older kids will try and come in and chat to me!! I dont have a problem but sometimes I would like some me time!!!

Having said that I am still breastfeeding Jamie who will be 3 next month.

I enjoyed soaking in the bath by myself too but once the boys found me that was the end of that!

Once they started getting inquisitive the baths stopped - wouldn't know when to stop girls as I don't have any!

when they can talk,and notice things are different especially girls and dads,,but not to be prudish about it,,,,,,,,,

some parents can get embarressed when questions are asked aswell,,,

edited==above applies to even brother/sister.......,,

Even now (youngest sister 37) if mum in the bath whilst we are visiting you can guarantee both sisters, myself and niece will be sitting in the bathroom talking to her.

My 4 year old nephew will get in the bath (not shower) with me, if I have one while he is here.

But I do agree with Joy if the child no longer wants to then that's the time to stop.

personally

its not something I ever wanted to do....I enjoy a soaking on my own in the peace and quiet.

However, I think once the child starts to talk fluently, thats when it should stop...just my opinion.

it dosnt bother me either way

each to their own

when its time to bathe them on their own

I know this is going to be a controversial subject and will delete if necessary, but I want to know everyones views on bathing together with your children. For instance, do you find it acceptable, or are you against it? If you are all for it, at what age should it stop?
