Ancestry as a whole has gone weird on me. Typed in the surname IRLAM for 1871 and got results for Jewett. And 1891 England has disappeared altogether for me! Lou |

I've had the same thing too. Tried to contact Ancestry by email to inform them and that went all weird on me too and wouldn't send. Then when I tried searching on the same name again it worked fine. Just trying to send us all mad I think!!! Kath. x |

Thanks James I still have no 1891 access! I don't need the actual image cos I have them all printed off at home BUT I'm living elsewhere at moment so not to hand! I need the address and who is living there, especially if they have a little girl with them, be about 3 or 4 called Emma. PROBLEM is that this chap of mine changes his surname more often that my son has clean nappies. SO he's born Lancashire 1845 George and wife Emma...could either be Gladrey, Gladerry, Gladsey, Gladney, Glathery or Glathers. If its a hassle, it doesn't matter! Cheers Lou |

I can't get the 1891 census this morning if i go through the standard name search on the home page but if i click on 1891 census at the bottom of the page i seem to be able to search the census on its own ok Paula |

Paula I'll give that a try then. Couldn't access it either way last night. I even tried searching for anyone called George in Lancashire in 1891 and it was telling me there were no records. As if!!! Lou |
