I did a search on the Death Index for 1984-2002 - this is the only Lois Rosalie born 1930 - perhaps she married a Gorton? If this is her - I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news. I have contacted all areas - and found that it was a private adoption and I contacted the solicitors that dealt with it when it went through the courts and apparently they have destroyed my records! charming as I was 20 years too late. They only keep records for 20 years which I was not aware of but I am just wondering if the courts keep records? do you think they do.

I do have a copy of the original birth certificate. It only shows her name and address at the time she was living but unfortunately the houses in that area has since been demolished!

I have absolutely no idea how old she is only that I was given away at 2 weeks old for adoption in 1954 so I have never seen or known her at all.
