Hollie: Unfortunately those records from Family Search are 'record submitted after 1991 by a member of the LDS church', so we don't really know how they got the information. I think they just guessed it, so it doesn't really get you any further forward. Kate. |

Hollie: This was the only information that I found....I'm off to work but will dig a little deeper when I get in. I found the information at the LDS site: www.familysearch.org. Judy |

If you can get a copy of his marriage cert, then this will have his father's name and occupation. If it's John Nolan for the father, that would match with the Dublin birth record. Then you would need to get the birth cert from Dublin (good luck with that lol) and hope the father's occupation is a sensible ''match'' too. Good Luck Sarah |

His full name is John Thomas Nolan. His father's name is John Benjamin Nolan. I don't know his mother's name. Unfortunately we don't definitely know where they were but have a suspicion that it was either up north or in Ireland. |

Hi I'm trying to trace my g.grandpa's (John Thomas Nolan) birth certificate. The only information that I have is that he is born in either 1893 or 1894. It doesn't mention his date of birth on his death certificate. I've tried tracing him down via the various census records and websites but nothing. Besides going through all the birth records for those 2 years is there anything else I could try? Thanks! Holllie |
