My GG Grandfather was Henry Hilditch born 1867 in East Macclesfield, Cheshire. In 1888 he married Louisa Blease I have seen a copy of his marriage cert and his father's name looks like George Broome, but the handwriting is awful so that may not be right. I have him on the 1891 and 1901 census' but can't find him on anything before. This has been bugging me for months now..... anyone got any ideas?......c....x |

Possibly Henry's birth:- Henry Hilditch March qtr. 1864, Macclesfield, 8a, 136 This entry corresponds with age on census. Or there is this one which is nearer to the birth date you give in your question:- Henry Hilditch Dec. qtr. 1867, Macclesfield, 8a, 98 So there's obviously two of them around. Kath. x |
