OP has Joseph (as per 1881) AND Helena Walsh in her GR tree…easy to check using ‘search all member trees’ and inputting Ives, birthplace Shipley, etc

Related to Joseph's wife (Elizabeth, nee Jackson, died 15 January 1878)

As they appear to be well known then you should look at local newspapers and at the holdings of the Local Archives.

Thank you. I will look into all your suggestions. It is Shipley in West Yorkshire. The Ives family were an extended family of builders and carpenters around the time of Titus Salt . They built Bradford Town Hall and other notable buildings.

There is also a number Ives matches in Search/ search all members trees.

Take a look and you can contact the tree ‘owners’ by clicking on their names and send a pm. If they have kept their contact details up to date they will receive a notification from Genes.

Genes do not send notifications of additions to threads.

You have numerous IVES names in your GR tree, so why is your request so vague?

No-one is likely to 'have' info...............we would have to look for it.

Have you done any research?

An 80-year time-span is a lot to ask............and you haven't said which 'Shipley', or given ANY forenames, so how would anyone know if they were finding YOUR relatives?

Plenty of free sites you can try..............three to be going on with...........
